Life lately told through my instagram/camera roll.
Life has calmed down the last few months and feels a lot more stable. My husband and I set off on an entrepreneurial track almost a year ago so our financial/housing situation has been crazy. We have lived with my parents, then my brother’s house, and now we are in a house by ourselves. I never thought I would be back in Utah and my husband wouldn’t be practicing law. I miraculously maintained my sanity through the building phase of the business (thank you fitness instagram for keeping me focused on something else!) and I am genuinely happy that Navy gets to hang out with her daddy more. Now we are living in my Husband’s family vacation home facilitating the sale of the property. It is fun playing house in such a gorgeous space, and I am soaking it all in since I know it will be short-lived! Now you can see why I LOVE saving money and LOVE passing it on to my insta friends! I have no shame in shopping at Walmart and being budget conscious. I only spend more money on things that I LOVE and am always looking for options that are less expensive. I still want to be on trend, but don’t want to break the bank in doing so. That is my phase of life right now and I hope that being real about it can help some others in the same situation. Saving money is cool. At least I keep telling myself that Here are some pics of my life lately…
Twinning with my girly
Matching dresses: found here. They were only $6.88 each! They are girls dresses so Navy got a 4-5 and I got a 14-16. Seriously my love for Walmart runs deep.
Post gym
Bras: found here. I just got 2 of these bras (purple and pink) at VS and they are such a pretty shape! They are awesome for my gals with little chests . Also they ALWAYS have a deal going on at VS look out for their current deals to save some cash.
Picnic with Navy:
It is warming up in Utah! We ate blueberries, oranges, and fruit roll-ups. We played with chalk, picked flowers, and Navy laughed as she rolled oranges down our walkway yelling “catch them mommy!”
Love this Nike Jacket so much and two friends have the same jacket and love it as well. It is perfect for summer since it is light and bright. On sale here (also love the blue Found here) Here is the jacket in “big girls” size for a little cheaper. The matching sweatpants are awesome and on Sale too. Found here
Adidas
Have you noticed that Adidas is making a HUGE comeback? Everything they make is so cute and gives you mega swag at the gym. I love it because I can be on trend without spending a fortune. I wear this shirt at least 3x a week. I want the heather grey one too since I have seen two of my friends wearing it at the gym… seriously love it. Found here
Kind of random… but that is what is going in my life lately! Also I just found a copy cat of the lululemon speed short. I will post the comparison soon. Exact same cut of short but one is $15.00 and the other is $58.00!
